| An ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’ competition was organized under the aegis of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Undertakings), Hyderabad-Secunderabad. The event was graced by the special presence of Dr. Ramakant Dixit, Chief General Manager, India Government Mint; Shri V. Balaji, General Manager (HR); Shri S.P. Gandam, Additional General Manager (Technical Operations); and Shri Vishwa Deepak Tiwari, Senior Manager (Corporate Communications & Official Language). Chief General Manager Dr. Ramakant Dixit congratulated all the participants and, while commending them, remarked that such events further strengthen the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat’. In his welcome address, D. Ravi Kumar—Deputy General Manager (HR) and Officer-in-Charge (Official Language) at the India Government Mint, Hyderabad—stated that the “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat” competition is not merely an event but a powerful message conveying the unity inherent in India’s diversity, its cultural richness, and national integration; he then inaugurated the competition. Diwakar Das (Assistant Manager, Bharat Dynamics Limited) secured first place, Imran Ahmed (Manager, BHEL, RC Puram) took second place, and V. Usha Rani (Additional Officer, Container Corporation of India Limited) achieved third place. Additionally, A. Sandeep (Deputy General Manager, BHEL Corporate R&D) and Deepank Bisht (Assistant General Manager/O&M, RailTel Corporation of India Limited) were selected as winners of the consolation prize. The participants in the competition included Seema Rani, Junior Telecom Officer, BSNL Circle Office; T. Padmini Priyadarshini, Sub-Divisional Engineer; G. Samson, Superintendent (HR); Venubabu, Manager; Mohammad Isteyak Alam, Deputy Manager (Project); Harshvardhan Padole, Chief Manager; Rekha Garg, Senior Assistant; S. Jagadish, Assistant Grade-III; Abhishek Kumar, Junior Technician; A. Srikar, Assistant Manager; and Himanshu Gautam, Sub-Engineer. The technical coordination for the competition was handled by Azhar Sultan, Section Assistant (Official Language); and Dr. Ch. Ambedkar and V. Kanaka Sri Mahalakshmi, Senior Translation Officers, NARAKAS (North) Coordination Office, ECIL. D. Ravi Kumar, Deputy General Manager (HR) and Officer-in-Charge (Official Language), along with Prem Kumar Sao, Bhishma Narayan Sharma, and their team, made significant contributions to the program. Ramesh Prasad Mishra, Assistant Manager at PowerGrid and a member of the TOLIC (Undertakings) Core Committee, also played a vital role. |
