Hindi Workshop Organized at India Government Mint, Hyderabad.

A one-day Hindi workshop on ‘Official Language Implementation and Office Terminology’ was organized on June 23, 2026, at the India Government Mint, Hyderabad. The event was held for officers and employees who had acquired working knowledge of Hindi during the first quarter (April–June 2026) of the 2026-27 financial year. The workshop took place in the distinguished presence of the General Manager (HR) and the special guest, Shri Md. Kamaluddin, former Assistant Director (Official Language), Hindi Teaching Scheme, Hyderabad. The proceedings commenced with a welcome address by the Manager (Official Language), IGM Hyderabad.

Official Language implementation entails ensuring the progressive use of Hindi as the Official Language in government offices across India. In this context, the use of official administrative terminology is crucial for making office operations simple, clear, and consistent, while adhering to the guidelines of the Department of Official Language and the provisions of the Official Languages ​​Act, 1963.

The expert guest speaker conducted the workshop in an interactive manner, providing practical insights into the subject, addressing the queries of the officers and employees, and reviewing the exercises completed by the participants. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Manager (Official Language).
